Know before you go
The main entrance to Top of the Rock is located on 50th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Look for the big red carpet marking the entrance on the south side of the street.
There is a security checkpoint for all visitors. Be mindful of the belongings you choose to bring with you. No weapons of any kind. Food and beverages are also not permitted.
