Overview

You’ll receive one-to-one training with a Civil Aviation Authority licensed instructor and will spend up to 30 minutes in the air (including taxiing and landing). What you learn will depend on your chosen location but all participants receive flying time that counts towards a Private Pilot's licence.

Know before you go

"• To ensure proper weight distribution and safety in the light aircraft, certain weight and height restrictions will apply. These restrictions vary depending on the specific aircraft and flight experience
• Minimum age: 12, 14 at Coventry Airport and Dunkeswell Aerodrome (under 18s need parental/guardian consent)
• Minimum height: 4ft 10in
• Maximum height: 6ft 4in , 6ft 6in at Dunkeswell Aerodrome
• Maximum weight: 12 stone at County Down, 12 to 13 stone at Chester, 14 to 18 stone at other locations
• Participants should be in reasonable health and agile enough to climb into the aircraft
• These are guidelines only and we ask that you check any queries at the time of booking"
